Reliability is Currency
In this industry, your reputation is everything. If an agency knows you will answer the phone, say yes, turn up on time, and cause no issues, you will be their first call. Flakiness is the quickest way to end your career.
Being Low Maintenance
Production crews are stressed and busy. The best Supporting Artist is one who requires zero management. They bring the right clothes, they listen to instructions the first time, and they stay in position. Being 'low maintenance' is high value.
Respecting the Hierarchy
A film set is a rigid hierarchy. Understand that the ADs are your bosses for the day. Do not offer creative suggestions to the Director or the DOP. Do your job silently and effectively to support their vision.
